As we celebrate July 4th today, here is my most recent Huffington Post blog piece on how women are key to economic and political progress. Across the globe – and here in the US – women are crucial to building strong, vibrant societies and economies. To me, a big part of what we celebrate today is that we are stronger when we all work together, and when we use everyone’s talents to enrich our lives, our communities and our countries.
Of course we are all better off but a significant proportion of white male voters know you are correct and fear their loss of power as evidenced by the explosion of money going to superPacs. It is their Custer’s Last Stand.
