I love this story about the US Agency for International Development (USAID) helping rebuild a women’s radio station in Herat, so that women there can communicate better. And that kind of story is a reason that I will be leaving shortly for Kabul to work on a project with the US State Department. It should be quite an experience, and I am excited to be going there at such a critical time. I hope that I will be able to share some of my experiences on this blog and will also post updates of what is happening around the country.
