Working with Femmes en Democratie and Vital Voices, I am happy to heading back to Haiti at the end of the month to work on a conference organized by Haitian women, including my friend Danielle Saint Lot, dedicated to building a women’s policy platform and mentoring. Two years ago this month Haiti suffered a devastating earthquake and much has been written about the impact, reconstruction and its future. This exciting conference will bring women together from across the country to prioritize the issues that women see as important to recovery and reconstruction. I will keep you all posted.
