Last weekend, I traveled to Santa Fe, New Mexico for the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market, which is the largest international folk art market in the world. The market is an annual event, featuring hundreds of artisans from across the globe.
As we overheard someone say, it was like taking a vacation without leaving Santa Fe. It was exciting to see so many artisans from across the globe with traditional products. I was happy to see two of my friends there: Rebecca Lolosoli from Umoja Village in Kenya with her beatiful bead work and the women ofLes Dix Doigts de La Vallein Haitiwith their uniqueRichelieu embroidery.
If you havent been, its definitely worth a trip.
